Among the many show-stopping moments on Queen’s forthcoming A Night At The Odeon DVD is this spine-tingling rendition of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Building from Freddie Mercury’s piano-and-vocal intro into a truly bombastic, history-making performance – with Brian May whipping out an iconic solo without even appearing to break a sweat – it was a highlight of the concert. Filmed at London’s Hammersmith Odeon, on 24 December 1975, the closing night of the band’s Queen Invite You To A Night At The Opera Tour, A Night At The Odeon captures the band in all their pomp.
