Watch The Video For Sting & Shaggy’s ‘Just One Lifetime’
‘Just One Lifetime’ features on the two stars’ new collaborative album ’44/876′.
Sting and Shaggy follow up the visual for ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ with a new animated music video for Just One Lifetime. Directed and animated by Judit Boor, the new video is an old school, feelgood affair which cartoon versions of Sting and Shaggy dancing on a beach with other animated characters.
‘Just One Lifetime’ serves as the second release from Sting and Shaggy’s collaborative, island-influenced album, 44/876, which was released on 20 April through Interscope/A&M Records. The album reflects the duo’s mutual love of Jamaica – its music, the spirit of the people and vibrancy of its culture.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Sting & Shaggy have announced a North American tour this fall. The duo are set to play songs from 44/876 including Just One Lifetime and will collaborate on each other’s most celebrated hits such as ‘Every Breath You Take,’ ‘Englishman In New York,’ ‘Message In A Bottle,’ ‘It Wasn’t Me,’ ‘Mr. Boombastic’ and ‘Angel.’
Kicking off in Miami on 15 September at The Fillmore Miami Beach, the tour will make stops at various venues along the way including Atlanta’s Tabernacle, The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Washington, Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, plus additional Fillmore plays in both Philadelphia and Denver, before culminating at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on 15 October.
Sting and Shaggy will be joined on the 44/876 Tour by Sting’s players Dominic Miller (guitar), Josh Freese (drums) and Rufus Miller (guitar) as well as Shaggy’s band members Melissa Musique (backing vocals), Gene Noble (backing vocals) and Kevon Webster (keyboards).
