U2 Reveal New Album Artwork And Tracklisting For ‘Songs Of Experience’
U2 have revealed the cover artwork and the tracklisting for their hotly-anticipated new album, Songs Of Experience, which will be released 1 December 2017 on CD, vinyl, digital download and across streaming platforms.
The 13-tracks Songs Of Experience features the previously released tracks ‘You’re The Best Thing About Me’ and ‘The Blackout’ as well as ‘The Little Things That Give You Away,’ which U2 debuted during their Joshua Tree 2017 tour. The song ‘American Soul’ is a fleshed-out version of ‘XXX,’ the band’s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar that featured on the rapper’s Damn.
The digital and CD deluxe edition version of the LP features four additional tracks. Fans who pre-order Songs Of Experience will also receive the just-released album track ‘Get Out of Your Own Way’ as an instant download.
U2 also unveiled the album’s front cover (see featured image above), a photograph of band members’ teenage children Eli Hewson and Sian Evans as photographed by U2’s long-time visual collaborator Anton Corbijn.
Songs Of Experience is U2’s fourteenth album overall and serves as a companion piece to 2014’s Songs of Innocence.
