The Rolling Stones Announce Live Edition Of ‘Hackney Diamonds,’ Share Studio Footage Featuring Paul McCartney
The new set will be released on January 19.
The Rolling Stones have announced the forthcoming release of Hackney Diamonds (Live Edition) featuring all seven tracks performed at last month’s launch event at Racket in New York City.

Set to be released on January 19, the 2CD format includes debut performances of four tracks from the recent album including “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” (with Lady Gaga) as well as performances of “Shattered,” “Tumbling Dice,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.”
Additionally, The Stones have released a lyric video for “Bite My Head Off” featuring footage from Racket and unseen studio footage of Paul McCartney from the album recording sessions. Check that out above.
Earlier this month, the band announced a sprawling North American tour. The band will traverse the country (with one date in Canada) in support of Hackney Diamonds. The dates kick off on April 28 in Houston, Texas.
In an interview with us also from October, Jagger revealed that the band hadn’t planned on waiting 18 years between albums. “We recorded a lot of stuff and we did a lot of sessions,” he tells us. “But there was no deadline, there was no ‘Let’s finish these next week,’ none of that. It was just ‘Do two weeks’ recording’ and then there were no plans to come back together again.”

I was a good friend of Jimmy Miller , he’d come over and we’d sit on Floor just talking .he asked me to come to London and gave me an white oblong card saying Producer of the rolling stones, mick was at the then international hotel with Bill watching BB King and autototium was empty. Jimmy said do you want to meet mick, ? I said no I’ve met him at the whiskey ago go in l.a where I worked in 60s and went to same parties. Jimmy was not on hard drugs then and I was his go to ,to just go to and talk. my son and partner would love two tickets to hackney diamonds show in Pasadena at rose bowl in 2024, if it’s possible possible/
