Tears For Fears have added three more dates to their ‘Rule The World’ tour of 2018 due to unprecedented demand. After a triumphant London Royal Albert Hall show in London and gigs in Cardiff, Glasgow, Bournemouth and Brighton all sold out, the band have added shows at Leeds First Direct Arena on Friday, 27 April; Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, 28 April and a second date in Glasgow’s SECC Armadillo on Monday, 30 April.

Joining Tears For Fears on all UK & Ireland dates is Alison Moyet. In a 35-year recording career, three times BRIT Award-winner and Grammy-nominee, Alison Moyet, has released 9 solo studio albums with 2017 seeing the release of the critically-acclaimed album Other and embarking on her biggest world tour for thirty years.

Tears For Fears recently announced the release of their first career-spanning Greatest Hits album, Rule The World which is out November 10th on Virgin/EMI. Not only does Rule The World feature all the aforementioned hits and more, but it also boasts the first original music from the duo since 2004, the new single ‘I Love You But I’m Lost’ and acoustic track ‘Stay’.

Beyond their own output, Tears For Fears have influenced many artists today including being sampled by The Weeknd, David Guetta, Drake, and more, while also being covered by Lorde, Adam Lambert, Gary Jules, and Disturbed, to name a few. Meanwhile, classic songs figure prominently everywhere from The Wire and Donnie Darko to Straight Outta Compton and Mr. Robot.

Everybody Loves A Happy Ending was released after a 15 years hiatus in 2004, which rekindled the creative fire between the duo. Breaking another quiet spell, the boys engaged in a three-year touring whirlwind across North America, Japan, South Korea, Manila, and South America beginning in 2010.  2013 saw them return with their first recorded music in a decade: a cover of Arcade Fire’s ‘Ready to Start.’

In addition to the newly-announced shows, Tears For Fears play the following UK and Ireland Dates in May 2018:

2 May: Dublin, 3Arena
