Taylor Swift, Sam Smith & More Join ‘One World: Together At Home’ Extravaganza
The star-studded Lady Gaga-curated event will be streaming this coming Saturday, 18 April.
Taylor Swift and Sam Smith are just two of the welter of stars who have now signed up for the Lady Gaga-curated ‘One World: Together At Home’ event, which will take place this coming Saturday, 18 April.
This morning, the already stacked line-up for the WHO and Global Citizen event expanded significantly. Aside from Swift and Smith, Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Awkwafina, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Pharrell Williams, Shawn Mendes, Usher and Victoria Beckham are now part of the global event, which has already raised more than $35 million to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
As Lady Gaga explained while announcing the event last week, ‘One World: Together At Home’ is not your traditional benefit concert: “We want to raise the money before we go on air. When we do go on air, put your wallets away, your credit cards away, and enjoy the show,” she explained during an at-home live stream.
