Tame Impala Launches Limited Edition Shoe Collection With Sepatu Compass
The shoe collection is available for purchase in Indonesia now.
Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker has teamed up with Sepatu Compass to launch a limited edition shoe collection.
Sepatu Compass and Tame Impala’s new shoe collaboration, titled Artificial Vibration, is made up of three different types of trainers that represent a different Tame Impala song.
The first is a retrograde low shoe with a waveform pattern to represent “The Less I Know The Better,” while the other two designs are retrograde hi decons, one of which is a tie-dye pattern for “Yes I’m Changing,” and the third is a spectogram print for “Lost In Yesterday.” All three shoe types feature a tongue that can hold wireless headphones.
Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker wrote on Instagram, “Hey Indonesia, I’m honoured to announce this very special colab with Sepatu Compass , where they transformed my music into graphics! Super cool idea. Very limited run. Hope you manage to grab some x”.
Earlier this month, Parker confirmed a 2022 North American tour with dates that kick off February 27 with a headline slot at the Innings Festival at Tempe, AZ’s Tempe Beach Park.
