Steel Panther Added To Ramblin’ Man Fair Line-Up
Rumours have been rife that Bad News or even the legendary Spinal Tap might be treading the boards at the 2018 Ramblin’ Man Fair. However, it has now been revealed that the festival’s special guests will be comedic US glam metal rockers Steel Panther.
Expected to Bring the lip gloss, the eyeliner and hairspray to Ramblin Man’ 2018, the US quartet led by Michael Starr are the festival’s special guests for the main stage Saturday At The Fair.
Hailing from Los Angeles, California. Steel Panther have shared the stage with Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Guns n’ Roses, Alter Bridge and Aerosmith and have a reputation for partying. To date, the band have released five studio albums, Hole Patrol, Feel the Steel, Balls Out, All You Can Eat and 2017’s Lower The Bar, all of which have charted inside the Top 100 of North America’s Billboard 200 album chart.
Steel Panther are the latest addition to an enviable line-up of classic rock, progressive rock, blues and roots artists already lined up for the 2018 Ramblin’ Man Fair. As previously reported by uDiscover Music, this year’s event is set to be headlined by The Cult, Steve Earle & The Dukes and Halestorm, while the diverse bill also includes performers as diverse as Gov’t Mule, Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind and former Marillion frontman Fish.
Described by Classic Rock magazine as “the best new festival in Britain”, the Kent-based Ramblin’ Man Fair has been accumulating critical accolades and has already proved its capabilities in providing one of the most impressive, across-the-board bills in modern music. The festival’s mission statement notes that the event is “designed by rock fans for rock fans” and last year also attracted a wealth of talent, including performances from ZZ Top, UFO, Black Star Riders, Extreme, Magnum, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Glenn Hughes, Graham Bonnet and Ronnie James Dio tribute The Last In Line.
