Although the music on this collection is fantastic, this is an absolutely horrible product! The sound quality is abysmal and sub-par. This deserved a much better treatment than it received. Universal missed a huge opportunity to do it right. The amount of music squeezed onto each side of the record means that the audio is presented at an unbelievable low volume, so much so that the sound of your needle going along the groove is as loud or louder than some of the songs. The music sounds like it was directly sourced from digital files, and compressed to make it sound louder as compensation for how quiet the music itself is on the vinyl.
This should have been a double LP and, if done right, it should have been classic black 180gr. What a shame. Do NOT waste your money. It may look pretty, but it sounds awful.
