Slayer continues their farewell tour, announcing the seventh and final leg of ‘The Final Campaign’ dates this fall.
The thrash metal legends also revealed a series of special guests during the 18-date run that includes Primus, Ministry and Philip H Anselmo and the Illegals, who will perform a full set of Pantera songs.
The tour is slated to kick off on 2 November at the Explore Asheville Arena in Asheville, North Carolina and wraps 30 November at the Forum in Los Angeles.
Tickets will go on sale 12 July at 10 am local time. Since embarking on ‘The Final Campaign ‘tour last May, the metal icons have played over 140 shows in the US, along with extensive dates in Europe and festival appearances.
When they first announced they would be extending the farewell tour through 2019, guitarist Kerry King shared in a statement:
“We’ve heard about fans who have driven five, six hours, or flown in from other cities or countries to see us, so we want to assure our fans that we’ll be on the road through 2019 and will get to as many places around the world as possible to make it easier for everyone to come and see us one last time.”
While Slayer is currently on tour in Europe, the band is also booked to play the 15th annual Riot Fest, which will take place in Chicago’s Douglas Park 13-15 September.
