The virtual New Year’s Day broadcast will also feature music from Mickey Guyton, Lady A, and Rascal Flatts.
While the annual Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl football game have been canceled, amid the coronavirus, organizers will still ring in 2021 with a New Year’s Day special featuring an exciting line-up of musical guests. Rising country star Mickey Guyton, Sheryl Crow, and singer-songwriter Tori Kelly are all scheduled to perform on the broadcast, which airs live from Pasadena, CA on ABC, NBC, the Hallmark Channel, RFD-TV, and Univision.
The reimagined New Year’s Day celebration will also feature performances by Lady A, Rascal Flatts, and The War and Treaty, while appearances will be made by Daddy Yankee, actresses Rita Moreno, Dascha Polanco, and Shanola Hampton, and former Olympic gold medalist, Laurie Hernandez. Longtime “Voice of the Dodgers” Vin Scully will also be a guest, as will former USC quarterback Matt Leinart, and past Rose Parade Grand Marshals Emeril Lagasse and Gary Sinise.
Viewers at home will also enjoy marching band performances, footage of past years’ floats and games, and more.
While fans won’t be able to attend the hallowed parade in person this year, they can participate in a video montage that will be aired during the show. Viewers from all over the globe are encouraged to submit videos of their wishes for the new year via the Tournament of Roses’ official website.
