The Rolling Stones Announce Additional UK ‘No Filter’ Tour Dates For Summer 2018
Rock icons The Rolling Stones have announced two additional UK shows on their forthcoming No Filter tour of the UK and Europe. The dates are at Southampton’s St. Mary’s Stadium on Sunday, 29 May and at Coventry’s Ricoh Stadium on Friday, 2 June.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, the legendary band, who last played on British soil at London’s Hyde Park in 2013, will kick off the European leg of their tour with a show at Dublin’s Croke Park on May 17. The new dates in Southampton and Coventry join the previously announced shows for London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff
The band will conclude their No Filter tour dates with a return to London and a show at Twickenham Stadium on June 19. Tickets went on sale from Friday, 2 March. A pre-sale from tomorrow, Saturday, 10 March is also available for fans who have signed up to The Rolling Stones’ mailing list.
The announcement of the new tour dates comes after Rolling Stones fans in the UK were left disappointed last year when a lack of suitable venues meant that their European tour didn’t allow them to land on these shores.
“Sorry to our UK fans there are no UK dates on this run, due to lack of available venues because of sporting fixtures,” the band said at the time. “Hope to be here in 2018.”
