Ringo Starr Announces Revised Spring Tour Of North America With All-Starr Band
‘This is the longest I’ve been off the road in years,’ says Ringo.
Ringo Starr has announced the revised dates and the All-Starr Band line-up for their forthcoming North American tour, to take place in May and June.
For his first tour since the pandemic curtailed his 2020 and 2021 plans, the band line-up will include Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, Hamish Stuart, and the return of Edgar Winter. For the fifth time, following tours in 2001, 2003, 2006, and 2014, the former Beatle will launch the tour in Ontario, with two shows at Casino Rama on May 27 and 28.
The itinerary then continues through New England, with shows in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, then stops in New York City for three consecutive nights in June at the Beacon Theater. It moves on to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland before heading south with shows in Atlanta and the tour conclusion of the tour in Florida.
“I can’t wait to get back out on the road and play,” says Ringo. “This is the longest I’ve been off the road in years – up until 2020 I was touring every year with the All Starrs – and I’ve really missed it. Making music in the studio has been great, and it certainly saved me during the pandemic, but nothing beats playing live with great musicians in front of an audience. I love my fans and they love me and it’s going to be wonderful to be peace and loving and playing for them again.”
During his enforced time off the road, Starr has been remarkably busy, with two EP releases, Zoom In and Change The World, and two books. These are the limited edition retrospective hardcover celebrating his latter-day band in its various line-ups, Ringo Rocks: 30 Years Of The All Starrs 1989-2019, which has now sold out, and the recently-announced, limited edition retrospective Lifted: Fab Images And Memories Of My Life With The Beatles From Across The Universe.

Both are published by Julien’s Auctions, with Lifted available from Valentine’s Day. All proceeds from the new book will benefit the Lotus Foundation, which supports and promotes charities that focus on substance abuse, brain tumors, cancer, battered women and children, homelessness and animals in need.
