Outside Lands Announces Line-Up Featuring Kacey Musgraves, Paul Simon And More
The annual festival returns to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from 9-11 August.
Childish Gambino and Kacey Musgraves will join the previously announced headliner Paul Simon for San Francisco’s 12th annual Outside Lands Music Festival.
The annual festival returns to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from 9-11 August and organizers revealed the full line-up today (26 March).
The exciting line-up also includes Blink-182, Lil Wayne, Hozier, Mavis Staples, Ella Mai, Counting Crows, Twenty One Pilots, Flying Lotus, Anderson Paak, Flume, Better Oblivion Community Center, Santigold, Yaeji, Tierra Whack, DJ Koze, Weyes Blood, and more than 75 artists.
The iconic singer-songwriter Paul Simon announced last Friday he would perform as the headliner for a special one-off appearance since wrapping up his farewell tour last year. Simon previously stated last month he would be retiring from touring and only play the occasional concert to benefit non-profit organizations he supports.
“I’ve often wondered what it would feel like to reach the point where I’d consider bringing my performing career to a natural end,” the singer-songwriter said in a statement on his website. “Now I know: it feels a little unsettling, a touch exhilarating, and something of a relief”.
As for his Outside Lands performance, Simon will donate the entire net proceeds to a local environmental non-profit organization to be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale Thursday 28 March at 10am PT.
