Of Monsters And Men Release New Track, ‘Wild Roses’
The new track features on the fast-rising outfit’s upcoming full-length album ‘Fever Dream’ out 26 July via Republic Records.
Icelandic quintet Of Monsters And Men have released a new song ‘Wild Roses’, which features on their upcoming full-length album Fever Dream out 26 July via Republic Records. You can check the track out below.
Co-vocalist Nanna Hilmarsdóttir says of ‘Wild Roses’: “We are excited to share with you ‘Wild Roses’ from our upcoming album Fever Dream. The song shows an introverted side to the album and is influenced by a bit of dance music and Joseph Campbell’s The Power Of Myth and what it is like to lean into your sadness.’”
Adding to their accolades the band’s current radio single ‘Alligator’ has officially reached #1 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs Chart. Last week the band released the official music video for the track.
Speaking further on the single, Nanna recently spoke to NME and WWD in-depth about the record. She details its themes of empowerment and the growth the band has had over the past few years as they continue to create music that inspires.
‘Alligator’ continues to climb as it has reached Top 10 at Alternative radio, exceeding nearly 11 million streams online and earned acclaim from Billboard, Line of Best Fit and more. The group recently performed it for the first time on late night TV, gracing the stage on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
