No Doubt’s Greatest Hits To Get First Black Vinyl Release
The release comes as the group prepares for a performance at Coachella.
From the early 90s to the early 00s, No Doubt released an incredible run of singles. In 2003, the tracks were compiled on the greatest hits album The Singles 1992-2003, and fans will soon be able to own the record on black vinyl for the first time.

The Singles will be released as a 2LP vinyl. Disc 1 will contain several iconic tracks, like “Just A Girl,” “Bathwater,” and “Hella Good,” while Disc 2 will feature “Underneath It All,” “Don’t Speak,” and many more. The album contains 15 tracks, including “It’s My Life,” a cover of the 1984 Talk Talk song, recorded for The Singles. The rest of the songs are pulled from four of the group’s albums: 1992’s independently-released No Doubt, and their three major label records, 1995’s Tragic Kingdom, 2000’s Return of Saturn, and 2001’s Rock Steady.
The vinyl will be available in three formats: a standard black 2LP edition, a silver 2LP 2DC edition for international release , and an orange 2LP edition available exclusively through the Interscope store. More information can be found here.
In 2003, before compiling The Singles, No Doubt announced that they would be going on hiatus. It was during this time that Gwen Stefani additionally started working on her solo career, releasing her solo debut Love. Angel. Music. Baby the following year. The Singles debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 200, selling 253,000 copies in its first week. The album was certified double platinum by the RIAA in 2004, by then having sold 2,474,000 copies in the United States.
On top of the The Singles’ success, “It’s My Life” became one of the group’s biggest hits. The song was certified gold by the RIAA and earned them a nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 47th Grammy Awards.
