Nine Inch Nails, Lorde To Headline Mexico’s Corona Capital Festival

Nine Inch Nails, Lorde and Robbie Williams have been confirmed as the headliners of Mexico’s Corona Capital Festival. The two-day event, which takes place in Mexico City on 17 and 18 November, will take place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the city’s vast motorsport race track. Since 2015 the track has been doubling as the host of the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix.
This year’s festival presents a wealth of stars. Other notable acts include The Chemical Brothers, Imagine Dragons, New Order, Manic Street Preachers, MGMT, CHVRCHES, Death Cab For Cutie, The War On Drugs, Jenny Lewis, Mercury Rev, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Pond, Superorganism, and Sparks.
The line-up also includes Odesza, Khalid, BØRNS, Bastille, Friendly Fires, The Kooks, The Neighbourhood, K.flay, San Fermin, Yungblud, The Lemon Twigs, Shannon and the Clams, Yonaka, Sasha Sloan, Pale Waves, Panic At The Disco! and Blank Range, among others.
Widely recognised as Mexico’s leading annual arts & music festival, Corona Capital has a unique combination of world-class international line ups and prime location right in the heart of Mexico City. Initially launched as a single day festival, it was launched in 2012.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Nine Inch Nails recently announced details of a new six-track release, Bad Witch, due for issue on 22 June, and an extensive US tour. The band will launch their Cold And Black And Infinite North America 2018 Tour on 13 September with support from The Jesus and Mary Chain. The trek continues through the fall and concludes with a four-night stand at The Palladium in Los Angeles on 7, 8, 11 and 12 December 2018.
Nine Inch Nails will release Bad Witch on 22 June, completing the trilogy that began with 2016’s Not The Actual Events and 2017’s Add Violence.
