Nine Inch Nails Embark On First US Tour Since 2018
The band will be supported by a variety of acts, including Ministry, Boy Harsher, 100 Gecs, and Yves Tumor.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Nine Inch Nails will launch their tour across the US this week, marking their first full North American run since 2018. The 16-date tour kicks off on April 28 at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC, with stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and Philadelphia, among other major cities, as well as performances at several music festivals, including Atlanta’s Shaky Knees. Dates will run through September, punctuated by an array of shows throughout Europe and the UK.
Today, the band also revealed their supporting acts on both sides of the Atlantic, including Boy Harsher, 100 Gecs, and Yves Tumor. Nine Inch Nails’ final stop in Cleveland, OH (the hometown of founder Trent Reznor) on September 24, meanwhile, will feature special appearances by fellow industrial pioneers Ministry and Nitzer Ebb. Although the upcoming shows mark Nine Inch Nails’ first tour in four years, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have stayed busy with collaborative and individual projects, particularly when it comes to their work in Hollywood. In 2020, the duo wrote music for Disney’s animated film, Soul, alongside Jon Batiste, which earned them an Oscar for Best Original Score. Last summer, Reznor and Ross also teamed up with pop star Halsey to collaborate on their Grammy-nominated album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.
