Mumford & Sons Announce Huge 60-Date World Tour
The tour is in support of the band’s fourth album ‘Delta’, released on 16 November.
Mumford & Sons have announced details of a massive and “ground-breaking” UK and world arena tour, kicking off in November 2018 and running into 2019.
The much-acclaimed British band, who recently shared new single ‘Guiding Light’ and announced their upcoming fourth album Delta – released on 16 November – will be hitting the road for their most ambitious and far-reaching tour to date.
Mumford’s Winston Marshall said of the new record: “I think at the beginning [of recording the album] we kind of fell back in love with the old instruments we didn’t play on Wilder Mind like the acoustic stuff and the more folky instruments but [we were] conscious [about] how we can make these instruments sound not like these instruments which opened up a whole new world for us…”
Frontman Marcus Mumford added: “On this record it’s felt like there have been no boundaries creatively.”
Over 800,000 tickets will go on sale for Mumford & Sons’ 60 dates around the world, where the band will perform on what a press release describes as a “ground-breaking stage right across the middle of the room”.
The band’s full upcoming UK and world tour dates are below. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday, 12 October.
