Motley Crüe Share New Music From ‘The Dirt’ Biopic Soundtrack

Motley Crüe have teased a new track titled ‘The Dirt (Est. 1981)’, that they recorded for the upcoming Netflix biopic The Dirt premiering on 22 March.

In the clip, the band is back in the studio along with producer Bob Rock, who helmed the band’s iconic 1989 album Dr. Feelgood and their self-titled album in 2001.

‘The Dirt (Est. 1981)’ is just one of four songs the hair metal veterans have recorded for the film. The band first entered the studio last year to start working on the new tracks, which marks their first time they’ve recorded new music since their 2008 album Saints Of Los Angeles.

This teaser follows the official trailer that was shared yesterday, starring Douglas Booth as Nikki Sixx, rapper Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee, Daniel Webber as Vince Neil and Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon playing Mick Mars.

The Dirt takes its name from the band’s 2001 tell-all book and looks to be just as revealing, chronically the band’s chaotic journey through drugs, excess and fatal encounters. The band also revealed the official tracklist for the forthcoming soundtrack, which will also feature Machine Gun Kelly.

Bassist Nikki Sixx also went on Steve Jones of the Sex Pistol’s radio show Jonesy’s Jukebox today to premiere the full track. The other three new tracks that have been confirmed are ‘Ride With The Devil’, ‘Crash And Burn’, and ‘Like A Virgin’.
