As the date for the 61st Grammys grows closer, The Recording Academy has announced another round of performers including Brandi Carlile, Miley Cyrus, HER and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

This marks the first time Carlile will grace the Grammy stage, fresh off the back of her show-stealing performance at the Chris Cornell memorial concert ‘I Am The Highway’.

This latest roster of talent will join the previously announced performers including Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Dan + Shay, Malone, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, and Kacey Musgraves.

The ceremony will be hosted by Alicia Keys and be broadcast live on CBS Television Network, Sunday 10 February at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

The Recording Academy has also teased a special performance featuring rapper Post Malone and the Red Hot Chili Peppers that’s promised to be an “unforgettable Grammy moment”.

This is not the first time Malone has participated in a rock-crossover collaboration. The rapper and signer performed with Aerosmith at the MTV VMA Awards this past August.

In other Grammy news, the Recording Academy has announced the latest inductions to its distinguished Grammy Hall Of Fame. Spanning a diverse set of eras and genres, these qualified recordings “exhibit qualitative or historical significance”.

The 2019 Hall Of Fame inductees range from the Aerosmith’s ‘Walk This Way’ to Miles Davis’ ‘Round About Midnight’. Vetted by a special committee, the distinguished list also features Ella Fitzgerald Sings The George And Ira Gershwin Song Book, Brenda Lee’s ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’, Nina Simone’s ‘To Be Young, Gifted And Black”, Tom Petty’s Full Moon Fever, the Frank Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim, Fats Domino’s ‘I’m Walkin’ and Link Wray’s ‘Rumble’, among others.
