Watch The Video For Maroon 5’s Cover Of Bob Marley’s ‘Three Little Birds’

Maroon 5 have shared their euphoric cover of Bob Marley’s Exodus classic Three Little Birds, which they recorded as part of Hyundai’s campaign for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The video finds Adam Levine and company bouncing to the track as they jam in front of a tropical billboard. As the band plays, dancing CGI figures — composed of elements including leaves, fire, water and metal — groove along to the reggae classic. The video ends with the band morphing into elements themselves, becoming one with nature.
While Maroon 5 released their latest LP Red Pill Blues in November 2017, Three Little Birds is not featured on the album. The LA group’s version of the song is available to stream or purchase on digital music services.
The ‘Three Little Birds’ clip comes two weeks after the band unveiled their epic music video for ‘Girls Like You.’ Packed with empowered female figures, the visual features appearances from Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Tiffany Haddish, Sarah Silverman, Millie Bobbie Brown, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez and Ellen DeGeneres among others. The single debuted at No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot 100 last week and also includes a remix feature from Cardi B.
Maroon 5 recently kicked off a lengthy North American tour in support of Red Pill Blues, which features guest appearances from SZA and Kendrick Lamar. The tour’s first leg wraps on 17 June in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, then picks up again September 7th in Salt Lake City, Utah. The fall leg of the tour takes in 22 dates in all, with the band performing at prestigious arena such as Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (23 September) and Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit (September), before the trek ends with two shows at New York’s Madison Square Gardens on 14 and 15 October respectively.
