Maroon 5 Release Star-Studded Album ‘Jordi’ Feating Stevie Nicks, Juice WRLD, Blackbear
The album features collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, Juice WRLD, Stevie Nicks, YG, H.E.R. and more.
Jordi, the seventh studio album from multi-platinum selling band Maroon 5, has arrived vis 222/Interscope Records. The star-studded project features collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks, H.E.R., Juice WRLD, Blackbear, Bantu, Nipsey Hussle and YG.
Jordi is the latest album from Maroon 5 since 2017’s Red Pill Blues. It features the leading singles “Memories,” which has been certified 3x platinum by the RIAA, “Nobody’s Love,” which has been certified gold, and “Beautiful Mistakes” with Megan Thee Stallion which is the band’s latest Top 20 Billboard Hot 100 single.
The album arrives with a deluxe edition that includes two additional tracks: “Button” featuring Anuel AA and Tainy and “Lifestyle” with Jason Derulo. Jordi includes production credits from Louis Bell, Andrew Goldstein, The Monsterz & Strangers, Mikky Ekko, and more.
The album’s title comes as a dedication to Jordan Feldstein, Maroon 5’s late manager to whom “Memories” was also dedicated following his passing in 2017.
“This album is named after our manager. We built this thing together. A piece of me will always be missing,” frontman Adam Levine shared on Instagram. “The loss is tragic in ways I’m still learning to cope with. All I can do is keep him with me and honor him in the best way I know how. I miss him every single day. And I’m proud to have etched his name into the history of this band that he helped build from the group up…every step of the way. We love you Jordi.”
Maroon 5 will be taking Jordi on the road starting in late August. The 30-date tour begins at Auburn, Washington’s White River Amphitheatre on August 10 and runs through October 8 when the band will wrap up at Concord Pavilion in Concord, California. Maroon 5 will also be headlining Atlanta’s Music Midtown festival in September.
Ahead of the album’s release, Maroon 5 shared “Lost” as the latest single from the project. The song arrived with a music video directed by the band’s longtime collaborator Sophie Muller who also directed the visual for “Beautiful Mistakes” and the band’s 2004 hits “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved” from Songs About Jane. Maroon 5 also teamed up with artist Sam Vaughn to create floral illustrations of each band member and the album’s many collaborators.
