“I’m thrilled to announce this very special acoustic tour of U.K.!” Mark Morton says. “We had such an amazing time with the acoustic set at Download and I’m really looking forward to expanding on that experience with these upcoming shows.  Joining me once again will be Mark Morales on vocals and guitarist extraordinaire, Joe Harvatt.

“We’ll be performing acoustic versions of many of the songs from ‘Anesthestic’ and a few covers of some of our favourite tunes.  We’ll also be debuting some new original material as well. I couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity to play these intimate shows with my friends all over the U.K.  Look forward to seeing you all!“

Joining forces with WPP Records and Spinefarm Records on a worldwide basis, Morton released his 10-track album, Anesthetic, on 1 March. The record, produced by Josh Wilbur and executive produced by Jake Oni, sees him further explore his creative drive for writing and collaboration.

The album was made alongside a dream team of highly respected musicians from a multitude of musical worlds; some friends and some who would never be expected to collaborate with metal genre leaders Lamb of God. Singers on the album include Chester Bennington, Randy Blythe, Jacoby Shaddix, Myles Kennedy, Alissa White-Gluz, Mark Lanegan, Chuck Billy, Jake Oni, Josh Todd, Mark Morales, and Naeemah Maddox. Musically, Morton performs all guitars, with Roy Mayorga, David Ellefson, Ray Luzier, Paolo Gregoletto, Alex Bent, Mike Inez, Jean-Paul Gaster, Steve Gorman, Marc Ford, Yanni Papadopoulos, and Chris Brooks rounding out the band.

Mark Morton plays the following shows on his headline acoustic tour of the UK in January 2020:

08 January: Bristol @ Thekla
09 January: Manchester @ Academy 3
10 January: Glasgow @ SWG3
11 January: Birmingham @ Academy 2
12 January: London @ Camden Underworld.
