While the Grammy Museum has been closed since March, amid the coronavirus, it continues to keep music fans entertained with a packed schedule of digital programming. The newly-announced schedule for August includes previously-filmed interviews with such luminaries as Margo Price, Burt Bacharach, Toots & The Maytals, and Bright Eyes.

Each month, the Los Angeles museum has offered a variety of content from its archives, including interviews, performances, slideshows of past exhibitions, as well as educational content for children.

Beginning tomorrow, the museum will also kick-off a new series, Spotlight Saturdays, which features rising acts like LA-based rapper Duckwrth, singer-songwriter Conan Gray, and actress and R&B artist Kiana Ledé.

Since opening its doors 12 years ago, the museum has hosted over 900 public programs in its intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater. Now, every Monday and Wednesday, fans can enjoy these in-depth interviews from the comfort of home.

In addition to the above-mentioned acts, this month’s line-up also includes interviews with singer-songwriter Ruth B, Tex-Mex country band The Mavericks, rock group The Airborne Toxic Event, and singer-songwriter Pete Yorn, among many others. A full schedule is listed below.

On August 7, meanwhile, the museum will share a slideshow of its 2017 exhibit, Rhymes & Reasons: The Music of John Denver. The exhibit, which pays tribute to the life and career of the award-winning artist, actor, and activist, features a variety of ephemera, including many of Denver’s custom-designed stage costumes, handwritten lyrics, guitars, photos, and more.
