Luke Bryan Delays ‘Born Here Live Here Die Here’ Album And New Tour
The album had been scheduled by Capitol Nashville for 24 April. It will now be out on 7 August with the tour starting on 10 July.
Luke Bryan has announced the decision to delay the release of his forthcoming album Born Here Live Here Die Here and the start of its accompanying Proud To Be Right Here Tour. The album, Bryan’s seventh studio release, had been scheduled by Capitol Nashville for 24 April. It will now be out in August with the tour starting in July.
In a statement, the country superstar said: “I wanted to reach out myself and let you know that we have decided to push back the release of my next album, Born Here Live Here Die Here to 7 August as well as the start of my Proud To Be Right Here tour to 10 July.
“Confusing and scary time”
“What an incredibly confusing and scary time our world is facing right now, and it is important we continue to follow the guidelines we have been given and do our part to keep everyone safe. With that in mind, we are choosing to stay home at this time so we can have fun sharing this music and tour with you this summer.
“I truly believe,” continued Bryan, “that music can provide all forms of emotional connections for everyone and I can’t wait to get on the road and share these new songs with you soon.”
Bryan recently scored his 24th country No. 1 with ‘What She Wants Tonight,’ which will be on the album along with his 23rd, its predecessor ‘Knockin’ Boots.’ He’s now climbing the airplay charts with a new hit, ‘One Margarita.’ Bryan performed another signature song, ‘Most People Are Good’ (from his last album, 2017’s What Makes You Country) on Sunday’s (5) ACM Presents: Our Country special on CBS.
