Louis The Child Team Up With Aluna For New Single, ‘Cry’
Louis The Child recently announced their return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.
Chicago-bred production duo Louis The Child have released their brand-new single, “Cry,” with electronic singer-songwriter Aluna. The track is taken from the group’s To Believe EP, out April 23.
Aluna’s vocals seamlessly float on top of the high-energy production, creating a dynamic collaboration. The track comes fresh off the heels of Louis The Child’s recently released single “Blow The Roof” with Kasbo & EvanGIIA and just ahead of the pair’s performance at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
Louis The Child says about the track, “We’ve been fans of Aluna for years, so we were super excited to create something with her vocals on it. She has such a unique voice. One that really captivates you and draws you in on any song she’s on. The production is a lot clubbier than what people may be used to from us, but it feels super fresh. The second drop synth bass draws on some old sounds that inspired us when we first were getting into electronic music. Hope you love it :).”
Aluna says, “I’ve let people make me cry many times in the past, but sometimes I’m actually able to see the games people play—his song is about when those eyes are dry as a bone and it’s just some advice on how not to try and play me.”
In addition, Louis The Child recently announced their return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. The pair will be hitting the stage on October 13 with Neil Frances and Crooked Colours, and a sold-out show on October 14 with Kasbo and Rome in Silver, along with a Playground set on both nights. Limited tickets remain for the October 13 date.
