LL COOL J Reissues ‘All World: Greatest Hits’ and ‘Phenomenon’ on Vinyl
Limited-edition pressings of both classic albums are available now.

LL COOL J is reissuing his albums All World: Greatest Hits and Phenomenon on vinyl. Limited-edition pressings of both classic albums are available now.
LL COOL J first teased the reissue series back in February—the two new editions are set to be the first in a series of repressings of the veteran rappers’ substantial body of work. The new series arrives nearly four decades after LL COOL J released his debut album Radio.
Originally released in 1996, All World: Greatest Hits was LL COOL J’s first hits compilation, and featured tracks like “Rock The Bells,” “Mama Said Knock You Out,” and “Around The Way Out.” He produced the record with Rick Rubin, Marley Marl, L.A. Posse, Rashad Smith, Quincy Jones III and Tone—it was certified Platinum in 2001.
LL COOL J followed All World: Greatest Hits directly with his seventh studio album, Phenomenon, released in 1997. Blending more hardcore rap tracks with a distinct R&B influence, the record featured five singles: “4, 3, 2, 1,” “Father,” “Hot, Hot, Hot” and “Candy.”
The new vinyl releases follow the September 2024 release of THE FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy). Executive-produced by Q-Tip, the album marked the rapper’s return after a decade-long hiatus, and cemented LL COOL J as the first hip-hop artist in history to chart Billboard entries in five different decades.
The year prior, LL COOL J also embarked on his first arena tour in 30 years, The F.O.R.C.E. Tour. Held in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, the tour featured guests like The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Z-Trip.
