Little Big Town Share ‘All Summer’ As Latest Preview Of Upcoming Tenth Album
The group recently completed a run of European shows as special guests of the Eagles.
Country heroes Little Big Town have returned with the new song “All Summer,” which like its predecessor “Hell Yeah” will feature on their upcoming tenth studio album.
The breezy, midtempo track was written by the group’s Karen Fairchild with Sara Buxton, Madi Diaz, Ashley Ray, Savana Santos, and Alyssa Vanderheym. It’s been swiftly added to playlists by Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and elsewhere, and is described by the band, in a quote from the lyrics, as “the perfect summer anthem for ‘drinking wine on the water.’” The track is produced by Little Big Town, Vanderheym, Hubert Payne, and Scott Johnson.
“Hell Yeah” has amassed more than 10 million streams since it was released in April, and of which LBT gave a debut performance at the CMT Music Awards that month. The quartet recently completed the Bandwagon Tour with Miranda Lambert and the Cadillac Three, and were then special guests of the Eagles on their European stadium itinerary.
Little Big Town posted a photograph of themselves on stage in London’s Hyde Park, where they guested on June 26 along with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, the Wandering Hearts, and others: “We’ll never get over this tour with The Eagles. A dream come true.” The tour also visited Arnhem, Liverpool, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
This fall, Little Big Town are due to join Wynonna Judd on select dates of The Judds: The Final Tour. The all-star tour will also feature Brandi Carlile, Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, and others. Ahead of that, LBT have shows of their own booked from later this month into early September. The forthcoming album will be the follow-up to Nightfall, which was released in January 2020 and became their fourth to top the Billboard country charts. That sequence began with the ACM, CMA and Grammy Award-winning group’s fourth studio set The Reason Why in 2010.
