Listen to Jeremy Zucker and Chelsea Cutler Cover Gracie Abrams
Following the release of their third collaboration, the songwriting duo tackled the viral hit ‘That’s So True’ as part of their recent SiriusXM Coffeehouse Session.
The multi-platinum singers, songwriters, and producers Jeremy Zucker and Chelsea Cutler have shared a new cover of Gracie Abrams’ viral hit “That’s So True.” The pair recorded the track as part of their recent SiriusXM Coffeehouse Session.
Last year, Zucker and Cutler shared brent iii, the third installment of their long-running series. Out now via Mercury Records, the 11-track album is their first full-length collaboration and includes the single “Black & White.” It follows two previous EPs, both of which were well-received. 2019’s brent yielded the Double-Platinum “you were good to me” and the fan favorite “please.” 2021’s brent ii included the Gold-Certified “this is how you fall in love” and “emily.”
Zucker and Cutler brought the songs on the road as part of a sold-out Brent Forever: The Tour. They also stopped by The Today Show, where they performed the warm single “A-frame.”
“The first Brent EP we made in a really, really concentrated period of time, in just a few days and then brent ii, still mostly did it in a couple weeks,” Cutler recently told The Line of Best Fit. “The first time we sat down to work on brent iii was the summer of 2023, so we gave ourselves a really extended amount of time to write together and let that project come to life. I think it only makes sense that it feels a bit more comprehensive in terms of subject matter and maybe a little more varied as well because we each lived a full year. Life is just so fast. I think that last year was really transformative for both of us and I think there’s a lot for us to write about.”
Both Zucker and Cutler stay busy with fruitful solo careers. Last year, Zucker released “Cozy,” a collaboration with Lauv and Alexander 23. In 2023, he shared an EP called Is Nothing Sacred which included the eco-conscious single “a dying world.” That same year, Cutler released an album titled Stellararia. In 2024, she embarked on a headline tour called “The Beauty Is Everywhere Tour.”
