Leon Thomas has recruited Blxst for a remix of his latest single “Crash & Burn.” Reflecting on a series of superficial relationships, Thomas contemplates changing it up and moving from Cali to Mississippi.

Blxst adds a hard-hitting verse, spinning his own cautionary tale of L.A. romance. Check out the visualizer for the track below.

Thomas’ original version of the emotional, gospel-tinged “Crash & Burn” appears on his debut album, Electric Dusk, which was recently released via EZMNY Records/Motown Records. Named after Los Angeles’ longest-running drive-in theatre, Electric Dusk serves as the acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer’s love letter to cinema.

For the last ten years, Leon has been writing and producing for artists such as Ella Mai, SZA, Post Malone, and more in addition to being an accomplished actor. As he heads into the next chapter of his life, Leon fully develops his artistry as he establishes himself as a solo artist.

Leon is currently wowing fans as the supporting act on Ty Dolla $ign’s his “more motion less emotion tour.” The highly anticipated run began on September 15 in San Diego and is set to end on October 27 in San Francisco.  In addition, Thomas put on a celebrated show at Lights On Festival curated by H.E.R. in Mountain View, CA on September 17.

Back in February Leon Thomas and Coco Jones tackled a cover of Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé’s “Until The End of Time” for Valentine’s Day.

Leon Thomas, the singer-songwriter behind some of the biggest albums in the past few years, including Drake’s Certified Lover Boy and Ariana Grande’s Positions, joins Coco for a rousing rendition of the single from two of pop’s biggest artists. Coco and Leon started as child stars on Disney and Nickelodeon, respectively, and they have been making waves in R&B beginning with their respective breakthrough singles “ICU” and “Breaking Point.”
