Lana Del Rey, No Doubt And Sublime Confirmed For Coachella 2024
This year’s festival will also host Blur, Deftones, Tyler The Creator, Doja Cat and many more.
Coachella has revealed its 2024 lineup with headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, and Doja Cat, plus special reunion performances from No Doubt and Sublime.
Perhaps the biggest news of all is No Doubt’s classic lineup of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young will take the stage together for the first time in nine years.
On Tuesday, January 16, the band’s official Twitter page shared a video confirming that the classic four-piece lineup will play together once again, with the quartet all agreeing to “do a show.” More details have yet to be announced.
First formed in 1986, No Doubt released five studio albums during their initial run, with songs like the 1995 hit “Just A Girl” becoming an integral part of the pop-punk canon. In the early 2000s, the band embarked on a hiatus, but reunited in 2008 to tour and make another album, 2012’s Push and Shove. They stayed together for a few more years, but after some sporadic shows in 2014 and 2015, the group disbanded again.
Meanwhile, Sublime’s surviving members, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, will perform with Bradley Nowell’s son, Jakob, as their singer.
The reunited Sublime first came together in December 2023, when the band’s original bassist and drummer — Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, respectively — enlisted Jakob to perform with them at a benefit concert for Bad Brains’ frontman, H.R. At the show, the trio was billed as “A special performance by Jakob Nowell, Eric Wilson, and Bud Gaugh,” but now, they have formally “reunited,” and will be playing as Sublime.
Other notable acts on Coachella’s 2024 lineup include Blur, Ice Spice, Deftones, Justice, Peso Pluma, Grimes, Gesaffelstein, ATEEZ, J Balvin, Bizarrap, LE SSERAFIM, Oneohtrix Point Never, Carin León, Reneé Rapp, Faye Webster, Bleachers, Khruangbin, Jon Batiste, Jhené Aiko, Brittany Howard, Kevin Abstract, The Rose, The Last Dinner Party, Tyla, Suki Waterhouse, Chapelle Roan, Taking Back Sunday, Black Country, New Road, Mdou Moctar, Feeble Little Horse, and more.
Coachella 2024 is scheduled to run over two weekends, April 12-14 and April 19-21, at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
Tickets to Coachella 2024 are available in a variety of options, including standard GA, GA + Shuttle, and VIP will go on sale Friday, January 19th at 11:00 a.m. PT. There are also a number of camping bundles and other add-ons that can be purchased. Tickets are available now.
