Kim Petras Drops Surprise ‘Slut Pop Miami’ EP For Valentine’s Day
Kim is currently on the European leg of her Feed The Beast World Tour.
Kim Petras has surprise-dropped a new EP entitled Slut Pop Miami. The 12-track, sex-positive EP is the sequel to her viral 2022 EP Slut Pop.
Kicking off 2024 by appearing on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s The Sound of Now issue, Kim is currently on the European leg of her Live Nation produced Feed The Beast World Tour.
This isn’t the first surprise release from Petras. Back in September, she unexpectedly released her long-awaited album Problematique as a surprise for her fans.
Previously shelved after partially leaking and leaving fans clamoring for more, Problematique was unearthed from the vault as 10 tracks of euphoric escapist pop inspired by French house music and Parisian soundscapes.
Problematique features stand out track “Treat Me Like A Ho,” a flex that brims with confidence. The album also features starry-eyed, funk banger “Born Again,” a defiant, self-assured burst of fun in title track “Problematique,” sultry, smooth bop “Deeper,” and “All She Wants,” a materialistic, tongue-in-cheek anthem featuring the iconic Paris Hilton.
Petras’ UK/European run of shows began on February 13 in Birmingham, UK. The tour will bring her to cities overseas including Manchester, London, Brussels, Paris, Cologne, Amsterdam, and Milan. The tour also offers a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include Meet & Greet and photo opportunities with Kim, early entry into the venue, and limited-edition merchandise.
Kim also recently shared reimagined, symphonic, seven-piece string ensemble performances of fan favorites from her acclaimed debut album Feed The Beast. The album was inspired by the euphoric Eurodance hits that she would lose herself in growing up.
Feed The Beast arrived in June and found the star drawing more from her personal life, serving as a declaration about being willing to be consumed by her biggest passion. With pop music as her driving force, the album is Kim’s offering to her own beast that sees her embody a modern-day pop Andromeda—a spin on the classic Greek tale where the princess was about to be sacrificed to her beast.
