Kidd Kenn, the 20 year-old Chicago hip-hop sensation whose mesmerizing music video for “Coming” premiered last week, returns with BUSY BEING BAD, his hotly anticipated new EP available at all platforms today via 4th & B’Way and Def Jam Recordings.

In the video directed by Charlie Rees, Kidd Kenn and his crew take to the streets, casting a mesmerizing spell over those who encounter them. As they ride through the city, the music video turns into a hypnotizing party that perfectly complements the energy of the track. Kidd Kenn is the embodiment of irresistible allure, and he lyrically boasts about having men wrapped around his finger, creating an electrifying atmosphere that’s impossible to resist. In addition to “Coming,” BUSY BEING BAD also includes “Everywhere I Go,” (released in June), written by Kidd Kenn, Sean Ross, and James Kaye, and produced by Ross and Kaye. The new EP follows Kenn’s heralded debut at Lollapalooza, in his hometown of Chicago on August 3, a performance that left the crowd awestruck. Earlier in July, he graced the stage at the Houses of Luv: Afro Pride festival at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles.
Kidd Kenn has been steadily building a name for himself in the music industry, and his talent has not gone unnoticed. He recently graced the stage at the House of Luv: Afro Pride Performance in Los Angeles on July 8.
Earlier this month, Kenn shared a new Barbie-inspired video for the track “Everywhere I Go,” complete with his very own doll. In the video, a regular night turns pink and glamorous with the assist of a Kidd Kenn doll, which is really available for purchase.
The Best Of Kidd Kenn pink-splatter vinyl and toy doll box-set was released in May and is currently available exclusively at over 1,700 of the nearly 2,000 Target store locations in the U.S. and Canada.
