INXS Announce World Premiere Of Dolby Atmos Edition Of ‘Kick’ Album
INXS are offering fans the chance to attend a special premiere of the forthcoming, 30th anniversary, Dolby Atmos® -enhanced edition of their seminal sixth album Kick.
Beginning at 6pm (AEDT) local time, the special event will be held at the Event Cinemas in George Street, Sydney, Australia, on 24 October and it offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear Kick for the first time like never before in the band’s home country. The evening will also include a Q&A with special guests, producer Giles Martin and INXS’s Andrew Farriss, and with stars in the room and music everywhere, it will surely be a night to remember.
Due for release on 3 November 2017 and housed in glorious DVD size “fan-deluxe” packaging, the 30th-anniversary edition of Kick extends previous editions with additional B-sides, rare mixes and bonus tracks over three CDs. In addition, it will feature the album mixed in Dolby Atmos® by producer Giles Martin and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios. This new mix appears on a Blu-ray disc along with all the promo videos. Dolby Atmos® is an immersive sound technology that delivers the best listening experience on any device with a new dimension of clarity, fidelity and space.
