Hootie & The Blowfish Share ‘Miss California’ From Upcoming Reunion Set
The band co-wrote all but one track on the 13-song album, which has contributions from Ed Sheeran and Chris Stapleton among others.
Hootie & the Blowfish have shared another track from their upcoming, much-anticipated reunion album Imperfect Circle. This time it’s ‘Miss California,’ which the band wrote with Andrew DeRoberts and David Ryan Harris. The album follows on 1 November on Capitol Nashville.
The band co-wrote all but one track on the 13-song set, which has contributions from Ed Sheeran and Chris Stapleton among others. Sheryl Crow sings backing vocals throughout the album and Lucie Silvas is featured on ‘Wildfire Love,’ the track that has Sheeran among the writing credits.
Guitarist Mark Bryan told Billboard: “I think it’s cool that Imperfect Circle kind of has the same ring to it as Cracked Rear View where you’re looking back and you realise nobody’s journey is perfect, but here we are.”
Hootie & the Blowfish play the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas tonight (20) before embarking on a UK and Irish tour in Dublin on 4 October. Dates continue until 16 October.
Imperfect Circle will be released on 1 November. Scroll down for the full tracklisting, and pre-order it here.
