Guns N’ Roses, Maroon 5 And DJ Khaled To Headline Miami’s Super Bowl Music Fest

Next year’s Super Bowl LIV is gearing up to be one of the musical highlights of the year, with Guns N’ Roses, Maroon 5 and DJ Khaled headlining Miami’s Super Bowl Music Festival.

The three-day festival descends on Miami during the weekend leading up to Super Bowl LIV on Thursday, 30 January at the city’s American Airlines Arena. Joining the headliners will be special guests DaBaby and other soon to-be-announced artists.

Maroon 5 are now as staple of the NFL season, having played last year’s Super Bowl LIII’s halftime show in Atlanta, Georgia. The band is also slated to play the festival’s headlining arena show on Saturday, 1 February.

Tickets for the Super Bowl Music Festival, which precedes Super Bowl LIV at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on 2 February, go on sale Monday, 9 December at the festival’s site.

While many fans were speculating if Guns N’ Roses’ massively successful Not in This Lifetime reunion tour would continue into the new year, this Super Bowl festival date is giving them hope, with at least one show confirmed for 2020.

This year’s Super Bowl LIV halftime performance will feature two of the biggest Latin and pop icons of the past two decades, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

Previously, the only Latin performers to take the Super Bowl halftime stage were Gloria Estefan back in 1992 and 1999 and as part of Miami Sound Machine in 1995 and Enrique Iglesias, along with other artists, in 2000.

Meanwhile 2020 is shaping up to be a big year for Maroon 5, who just announced a massive North American summer tour for next year that includes 41 dates in select cities and special guests Leon Bridges and Meghan Trainor on special dates.

The Live Nation-produced summer tour will kick off on 30 May at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California, and keep the group on the road through a 17 September gig in Tampa, Florida.
