Guns N’ Roses Announce Additional Dates For 2017 North American Tour
Guns N’Roses have announced 11 additional dates for the North American leg of their on-going ‘Not In This Lifetime…’ Tour. The new dates come in the wake of the band’s landmark debut album Appetite For Destruction enjoying its 30th anniversary on 21 July 2017. To mark the occasion, the L.A legends played an invite-only gig at New York’s Apollo Theater, performing an epic, three-hour set.
The band have been relentlessly touring around the world since Slash and Duff McKagan rejoined the group in early 2016, confirming long-time suspicions that some sort of reunion was taking place. Appropriately dubbed the ‘Not in This Lifetime…’ tour, they’ve already played to millions of fans.
The newly-announced dates US will take place throughout October and November later this year and, most impressively, Guns N’ Roses have added a third and fourth stop at New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden. Other freshly tacked on stops include more in the North-east, one in Canada, and a handful of shows in the Midwest and California.

A mid-year report from Pollstar indicated that Guns N’ Roses have already sold nearly 1.4 million tickets in 2017 alone, good enough for a $151.5 million take, averaging $5.6 million a concert. As of late April of this year, it was reported that the ‘Not in This Lifetime…’ tour (which commenced in 2016) has brought in over $230 million in total.
