The band’s ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour, which began four years ago, recently became the No. 3 highest-grossing tour in the history of Billboard Boxscore. Launched in April 2016, ‘Not in This Lifetime’ featured classic GNR line-up members Slash, Duff McKagan and singer Axl Rose backed by guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and second keyboardist Melissa Reese.
Guns N’ Roses kicked off their long-rumored and long-awaited reunion tour with a club show in Hollywood and appearances in Las Vegas and at California’s Coachella festival.
As previously reported, Guns N’ Roses previously announced summer 2020 North American stadium tour has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic which continues to sweep the globe. The nearly two-month-long trek was scheduled to kick off on July 4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and run through August 26 on Missoula, Montana.
GNR said in a statement: “The North American tour is being rescheduled out of an abundance of caution. We will share the updated schedule as soon as the dates are finalised and all tickets will be honoured accordingly.
“If you are a ticket holder and would prefer a refund, please visit Live Nation for your options. Thank you for your understanding during this time as we look forward to coming back together very soon.”
Elsewhere, Guns N’ Roses are planning on releasing a children’s book based on their classic Appetite For Destruction track ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine.’ Published by Jimmy Patterson Publishing on September 1, ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ will feature illustrations by Jennifer Zivoin.
“As a longtime fan of Guns N’ Roses, I’m thrilled to partner with the band in bringing their famed hit song to life on the page,” Patterson shared in a press statement.

i saw gnr back in 92 in Worcester,ma, and they were great. now they are a mess- the band is so-so, and axl is bad. maybe if he got down to his original weight the voice would come back. they are milking the fans and stroking their ego’s. geez, what a shame!
