Ghost Announce ‘Ultimate Tour Named Death’ UK And European Arena Tour
The Swedish metal behemoths will kick off the tour in the UK and Ireland over six nights from 16 November.
Ghost have announced the UK and European leg of their ‘Ultimate Tour Named Death’ which will take place later this year.
The Swedish metal titans previously revealed a string of North American shows which run throughout September and October, with the new performances set for November and December.
Ghost will kick off the tour in the UK and Ireland over six nights from 16 November, before travelling to mainland Europe for a further 12 shows, which will wrap up in Toulouse on December 19.
The band will be joined by special guests All Them Witches and Tribulation for these Ultimate Tour Named Death arena shows, with tickets going on sale this coming Friday, 12 July. For further information, visit the band’s official website.
Last month, Ghost leader Tobias Forge revealed that while work on the follow-up to 2018’s Prequelle was in its early stages, it’s unlikely to see the light of day until 2021.
Forge recently told OverDrive: “I am going into the studio where I will be beginning the work in January. We’re doing another American tour in September and October and then we’re going to come back to Europe – and that is going to take us right up until Christmas.
“So, after New Year we are going to have maybe one or two small things at the beginning of the year and then it’ll be all about the new album.”
He added: “In order to make that record, it’s going to take me about six months and then that’ll take me to the summer, which we’ve already decided we’ll take a break a let the dust settle. Then hopefully by the end of the summer the record will be finished.
