Gary Barlow Teams Up With Michael Bublé And Sebastián Yatra On New Single

Gary Barlow joined forces with two vocal powerhouses – Canadian crooner Michael Bublé and Colombian star Sebastián Yatra – for his first new single in over five years. ‘Elita,’ an irresistible Latin pop track, marks the first taste of Barlow’s long-awaited new album, Music Played by Humans, out November 27. Brimming with salsa beats, the fiery ‘Elita’ is described as a song about “witnessing the power of women.” The collaboration originally began as a duet with Bublé. “But then Michael said he knew this amazing talent that would be perfect for the song,” recalled the Take That frontman. “Within an hour we were all on the phone and when Sebastián sent the track back, we were just thrilled. He has this amazing charisma.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever had a pop song which had us as three individuals, all coming together,” mused Bublé. “I thought it was cool as it molded different cultures, and aspects of music and who we’ve all been inspired by and I thought it was a really perfect mix. The song is exciting, it’s sexy – empowering.”

Yatra, who has previously collaborated with the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Daddy Yankee, added, “I still can’t believe that I’m in a song with Gary Barlow and Michael Bublé. We’ve done this all remotely, but strangely it feels like we’re three lifelong friends. These guys are pure heart and talent. I can’t wait to keep learning from their advice, example, and friendship in this whole process and future projects! We really hope that you guys love ‘Elita’ as much as us!”

Music Played By Humans, Barlow’s fifth studio album, marks his long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s Since I Saw You Last. The album, which included such hit singles as “Let Me Go” and “Face to Face” featuring Elton John, was a massive hit in the UK, peaking at No.2.
