Fujii Kaze Returns With New Single ‘Hana,’ Featured On ‘Ichiban Sukina Hana’

Fujii Kaze has returned with a new single “Hana.” The track is the official theme song of the TV drama series Ichiban Sukina Hana. The track was produced by A.G Cook.
Regarding the track, Kaze said, “‘Hana’ means flower. Flowers bloom and die. So do we. But there must be a flower that never dies. It is the flower inside of us. There is a flower in you that will bloom forever. This song is about searching for the flower within, and trusting in it. The melody came to me so organically, and it wrote itself during my first Asia tour. It turned out to be my first released song, written without using any instruments. Produced by A.G. Cook, he is such a pure and sweet guy, with an incredible talent. It was a blessing to work with him on this song. Now, flower is already yours. Choose whatever you like and let it bloom.”
This is the latest song by Kaze Fujii, produced by A.G Cook, who has also produced songs for Beyoncé and Charli XCX. The previous track “Workin’ Hard” was produced in Los Angeles with Dahi, who worked with Kendrick Lamar and SZA, as sound producer. It was a new and innovative number that brought hip-hop beats to the forefront. This new release follows the first single of 2023, which was produced with the awareness that it was his third debut song.
Back in March, Fujii shared LOVE ALL SERVE ALL STADIUM LIVE courtesy of Netflix. The event captured his performance at Panasonic Stadium Suita in Osaka, Japan.
Fujii Kaze announced the news after finishing a successful arena tour with 210,000 people attending 16 concerts in eight cities across Japan.
The film was directed by Kento Yamada, who also directed the live performance on the day of the event. The show includes all 17 songs that were performed. The video for “damn” from STADIUM LIVE was previously released on YouTube.
Fujii Kaze, a Japanese R&B singer already beloved in his home country, is being brought to the attention of a global audience thanks to one of his songs going viral on TikTok.
The 25-year-old star released the lovelorn song “Shinunoga E-Wa” as part of his debut album HELP EVER HURT NEVER back in 2020, and back in September, the track began taking over the popular social media app around the world.
Thanks to its ever-growing popularity on TikTok, “Shinunoga E-Wa” achieved a massive breakthrough in the US. The song landed at No.3 on the Spotify US Viral 50 Chart back in September, spurred on by its domination on the app.
