Listen To Multi-Million-Selling Florida Georgia Line’s New Song ‘Long Live’
FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley co-wrote the track with Corey Crowder, David Garcia and Josh Miller.
Record-breaking crossover country duo Florida Georgia Line have released their new single for BMLG Records, “Long Live.” They tweeted about its imminent arrival last week, writing: “This one’s for the late nights with great friends and cold drinks.” The track is available to stream and download now.
The song is a celebration of good times and an acknowledgment of “everyday moments that too often fly by.” Its chorus states: “Long live this way of life, long live nights like these,” on a track co-written by Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley with Corey Crowder, David Garcia, and Josh Miller. It was co-produced by Hubbard, Kelley, and Crowder.
FGL recently racked up their 17th career country No.1 with “I Love My Country,” which they will perform live at the 55th ACM (Academy of Country Music) Awards on September 16. Hubbard and Kelley have also been nominated as Duo of the Year for the 54th CMA (Country Music Association) Awards, which take place on November 11. They’re shortlisted along with Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, and Maddie & Tae.
Thirteen billion streams
The duo’s other spectacular statistics across eight years of unbroken success include career streams of 13.1 billion, equivalent sales of close to 34 million tracks, and worldwide album sales of 4.7 million. Their total video views are 1.5 billion, and FGL has now played to audiences of four million on headlining arena and stadium tours.
The group’s breakout single “Cruise” is the bestselling digital country single ever, certified 11 times platinum. They also hold the record for the longest-ever run, of 50 weeks, at No.1 with their 10-times platinum collaboration with Bebe Rexha, “Meant To Be.”
Since their 2012 breakout, FGL’s commercial reach has extended into such properties as FGL House Party Radio with Florida Georgia Line on Apple Music Country, and a series of thriving business initiatives. Among these are FGL HOUSE, meet + greet, Round Here Records, Tree Vibez Music, Tribe Kelley, Old Camp Whiskey, and Wolf Moon Bourbon (with Jason Aldean).
