First Look At KISS Figures, Movie Trailer
Figures Toy Company has given KISS fans the first look at the Destroyer retro figure series featuring the rock giants that the company plans to release this autumn.
As you can see above, the series takes its name from, and is inspired by, the artwork from KISS’ classic 1976 album Destroyer. The platinum-certified set, produced by Bob Ezrin, contained rock anthems such as ‘Shout It Out Loud’ and the top ten ballad hit ‘Beth.’
The figures for Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley will be available as 8 and 12-inch figures. They’ll be dressed in their Destroyer-era outfits, with heads sculpted by Danny ‘The Farrow’ Anniello. “Gene, Paul, Peter, and Ace are going to look like they’re leaping off the Destroyer album and into your hands!,” says the company’s publicity. Pre-order information is available at the Figures Toy Company site here.
Meanwhile, here’s the trailer for KISS Rocks Vegas, the upcoming movie based in the band’s residency at the Hard Rock Hotel there in November 2014:
There will be a one-night-only launch of the film, by Fathom Events, Eagle Rock Entertainment and MusicScreen, in cinemas around the world on 25 May. It will feature individual interviews with the band and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage only available at the screenings, details of which are here.
