Evanescence Announce Tour Of North America
The trek kicks off in Jacksonville, Florida on 3 May and concludes in Uncasville, Connecticut on 19 May.
Evanescence have announced a tour of the US which will take place during May 2019. The run of 10 spring dates will see the band revert back to their traditional rock line-up after previously touring with an orchestra on their Synthesis Live series of concerts.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Eagle Vision released Evanescence’s, Synthesis Live, on DVD on 12 October, 2018. Recorded late last autumn, during the band’s critically-acclaimed Synthesis tour, the concert was captured in state-of-the-art 4K by director P.R. Brown & produced by Craig Ziogas/CTGS Productions.
Evanescence took their Synthesis live tour around the world, delivering highly-acclaimed performances throughout Europe, North America and Australia. The Wall Street Journal (“The majesty of Ms. Lee accompanied by Mr. Campbell’s arrangements was undeniable”) and Variety (“Amy Lee firmly re-establishes herself as one of rock’s pre-eminent vocalists, exhibiting an impressive range that still packs a wallop, this time cutting through a full orchestra”) were just two of the major publications who afforded the tour rave reviews.
The band’s forthcoming trek will kick off with a set at Jacksonville’s Welcome To Rockville on 3 May and conclude with performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on 19 May.
Following the spring shows, Amy Lee, Tim McCord, Will Hunt, Troy McLawhorn and Jen Majura will play shows at Rock Fest and the Impact Festival on 18 July and 28 July respectively.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale from 10am local time this coming Friday, 8 February.
