Eurovision Winner Loreen Announces UK And European 2023 Tour
The Swedish star will hit the road in November
Following her historic win at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Swedish pop star Loreen has announced details of a UK and European 2023 tour.
The singer became the first woman – and only the second person ever – to win the competition twice when she was named victorious at the event last week. She took the title this year with her single “Tattoo,” while she previously won in 2012 with the track “Euphoria.”
Loreen will follow up her latest Eurovision success with a UK and European tour, which will begin in Dublin on November 7. From there, she will travel through Glasgow and London, as well as cities across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia. The tour will wrap up in Lithuania on December 1.
Tickets will go on sale here at 10am on Friday (May 26), but fans can sign up for access to an exclusive pre-sale, which will open on Wednesday (May 24).
“I’m so thrilled to finally go on a European tour & to invite you all into my universe,” the star said in a press release. “The Tattoo tour will be the first European tour I’ve done in a while, and I’m beyond excited to be back on stage and meet everyone that has supported me through this journey. The connections I’ve made these years mean the world to me, and to finally be able to meet you all again is a dream come true.”
Since winning this year’s Eurovision, Loreen’s “Tattoo” has been rocketing up the charts in the UK. It debuted at No.1 on The Big Top 40 chart and at No.2 on the Official Singles Chart – the latter meaning she now shares the highest UK chart position for a non-UK Eurovision entry with Irish singer Johnny Logan’s “Hold Me Now.”
Elsewhere, the song has soared to No.1 in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Slovenia, and Switzerland across Spotify, Apple Music, Shazam and Deezer charts.
