Listen To Ericdoa’s Heartfelt New Single ‘Fool4Love’
The Connecticut singer, songwriter and producer has also announced his first North American headline tour
Ericdoa has shared a heartfelt new single in “fool4love,” a bold and daring song about young romance.
“Baby, I’m a fool for love, but you already knew that/They label us together, we don’t really like to use that,” the 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer sings on the chorus. “Told me that she homesick, but she never wanna move back/If this is what we have, then I’m not afraid to lose that.”
“‘Fool4love’ was probably my favorite experience making a song I’ve had, it was all of my close friends on the floor of my bedroom hearing me annoyingly hum a guitar melody into the amazing fortuneswan’s ear until 6 AM rolled around and the finished product was what your hearing now,” Eric said in a press release. “A classic tale of my awkward stages of figuring out what being committed to a human being is all about.”
The experimental pop track layers poignant acoustic guitar with modern electronic production to create a compelling and fresh exploration of young love. “Fool4love” is the fourth track to be taken from ericdoa’s upcoming new album, things with wings, and follows “fantasize,” “back n forth,” and “strangers.”
Today (February 23), the rising Connecticut artist has also announced details of his debut North American headline tour, which will kick off in April. “We proudly present to u, a new way to fly,” ericdoa tweeted alongside the dates. Tickets for the shows will go on pre-sale at 10am local time tomorrow (24) and can be purchased here.
Earlier this month, the exciting new pop star shared his contribution to the Euphoria soundtrack with the new song “sad4whattt.” The track appears in the fourth episode of the hit HBO drama and shared a raw depiction of the fleeting, yet honest emotions of young love.
