Ellie Goulding Reschedules UK And Ireland Tour Dates
The news comes after the singer-songwriter and husband Caspar Jopling announced they were expecting their first child together.
Ellie Goulding has rescheduled the dates for her upcoming tour in the UK and Ireland to October 2021.
Previously she had been set to perform live for a series of dates from April 28 to May 12 in support of the release of her award-winning album Brightest Blue. As a result of the coronavirus lockdown rules, live events will not be able to take place until May at the very earliest. The dates for the tour have now been moved to October and all tickets originally bought for the previous tour timetable are still valid.

Speaking about her pregnancy in a new interview with Vogue this week, Goulding said that she was “excited to be a mother — but also I want to make sure that I continue to work. I can’t wait to go back on tour,” she added. “I’ve been in the studio most days, [and] I’m excited for the challenge. It will be a totally new experience.”
Earlier this month, Goulding worked with Silk City, comprised of Diplo and Mark Ronson, for their latest single “New Love.”
Kicking off in Dublin on October 5, after that the tour will conclude at the Eventim Apollo in London on October 17.

Since she arrived on the music scene with the hit track “Lights” in 2010, which was part of the singer’s debut album of the same name, Goulding has gone from strength to strength with hits like “Love Me Like You Do” and “Burn.” Throughout her career, Goulding is notable for exploring and experimenting with sound. The musicians’ fourth album, Brightest Blue, became her third UK No. 1. and received positive reviews including by AllMusic, who called Brightest Blue “a powerful reclamation of self that recaptures the simplicity of her debut and the vulnerability of Halcyon.”
Earlier this month, Goulding announced she was working on her first book venture, Fitter. Calmer. Stronger which shares Goulding’s “much sought-after fitness and health philosophy.”
