The four-part series will explore all aspects of the icon’s career, from image, acting, philanthropy and music
Dolly Parton has announced the launch of a new radio series, What Would Dolly Do? Radio, which will premiere on Apple Music 1 this month.
The new four-part series will be co-hosted by Kelleigh Bannen and will explore all aspects of the country legend’s career thus far.
The first episode, which will air on October 26, will dive into Parton’s look and legacy, celebrating the multifaceted country and cultural icon, from rockstar to role model, trailblazer to national treasure. The second episode will change tact and find the star talking about business, from stage to screen.
Episode three will discuss her philanthropic endeavors and the importance of giving back, while the final installment will find Dolly talking about entering her rock’n’roll era with her upcoming album, Rockstar.
“I’ve lived a life of many colours and I enjoyed the chance to sit down with Kelleigh Bannen to discuss different areas of my life and career,” Parton said. “I hope the fans will have as much fun listening as we had recording this!”
What Would Dolly Do? Radio will air weekly on Thursday mornings on Apple Music 1 at 1am BST and anytime on-demand, from October 26. You can tune in and listen live for free or anytime on-demand with an Apple Music subscription here. The show will also be available on Apple Podcasts.
The country icon will return with her next album, Rockstar, on November 19. Before that, Parton will release a new book called Behind The Seams: My Life In Rhinestones.
