Dierks Bentley’s ‘Beers On Me’ With BRELAND And HARDY Is His 18th Country No.1
The Capitol Nashville single rises 2-1 in its 38th week on Billboard’s Hot Country Airplay chart.
Dierks Bentley has scored his 18th country No.1 as an artist, and 15th as a writer, with “Beers On Me,” his collaboration with BRELAND and HARDY. The Capitol Nashville single rises 2-1 in its 38th week on Billboard’s Hot Country Airplay chart. It’s also up 10-7 as the top Airplay Gainer on Hot Country Songs.
“‘Beers’” is a true collaboration, both as songwriters and artists,” Bentley tells Billboard. The three artists co-wrote the track with Ross Copperman, Luke Dick, and Ashley Gorley; Bentley and Copperman produced it. “Beers On Me” is a second preview, after 2021’s “Gone,” of what will be Bentley’s 10th studio album, the follow-up to 2018’s The Mountain.
That title was the eighth of those releases to be certified at least gold; his self-titled 2003 debut and 2005’s Modern Day Drifter also went platinum. His first No.1 was the double platinum “What Was I Thinkin”,” from that Dierks Bentley set, in September 2003.
Bentley’s 2022 dates on his Beers On Me tour continue on May 27 in Welch, MN, with shows booked through to September 11. Last week, he announced the line-up for the previously-confirmed return of the Seven Peaks Music Festival, to take place over the Labor Day weekend of September 2-4.
The festival, to take place in its new location of San Luis Valley in Villa Grove, CO will be headlined by Bentley and Morgan Wallen. There’ll be additional main stage performances by Boy Named Banjo, Ashley Cooke, Jordan Davis, Jackson Dean, Travis Denning, HARDY, Kendell Marvel, Ashley McBryde, Old Crow Medicine Show, Caitlyn Smith, Rapidgrass, Alana Springsteen, and Lainey Wilson. The Friday night will kick off with acts including Bentley’s Hot Country Knights, Tracy Lawrence, the Frontmen, and Pam Tillis. Passes go on sale to the general public on Friday (22) at 10am MT at sevenpeaksfestival.com.
